Job Summary

This role is ideal for a service-oriented IT professional looking to join the waste management sector in Aurich, Germany, focusing on operational IT support and system administration assistance. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the ticket system, analyzing disruptions, and providing first-level support for hardware, software, and mobile devices. You will handle installations, configurations, and updates in the client environment, assist with video conferencing and technical documentation, and coordinate hardware rollouts. A key part of the job involves supporting the IT System Administrator in managing workplace environments, implementing IT security and data protection requirements, and assisting with procurement and vendor coordination. The position requires a completed IT apprenticeship or equivalent qualification, initial professional experience in IT support, and foundational knowledge of Windows client systems, networking, and standard Office applications. This is a full-time, initially two-year fixed-term contract with the option for permanent employment.
