IT Project Manager (Information Security and Digitalization Focus) | IT-Projektmanager (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role centers on establishing and managing the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and driving key IT and digitalization projects for a municipal waste management company. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for building and continuously developing the ISMS, potentially following ISO 27001 and NIS-2 guidelines, including setting up emergency and business continuity management (BCM), and conducting internal security audits. Day-to-day tasks involve planning, steering, and implementing various IT, digitalization, and AI projects, from requirement analysis and concept creation to budget management and technical implementation. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in IT security, ISMS, and both classical and agile project management methodologies, coupled with excellent analytical and coordination skills to manage complex IT and security architectures and ensure compliance across internal departments and external service providers.
