Job Summary

This role involves supporting the IT and Digitalization department, specifically focusing on IT Infrastructure and School IT systems at the Friedberg (Hessen) location. The IT Administrator will be responsible for the administration and continuous development of IT systems used by school administration and pedagogical areas, including managing the IServ school server and maintaining end-user devices such as PCs, notebooks, and iPads. A significant part of the job is providing First and Second-Level IT support to administrative staff, students, and teachers on central systems like Citrix Terminalserver. Furthermore, the administrator will consult with school administrations on IT procurement and solution selection. The ideal candidate must have a completed vocational training in IT or comparable qualification with practical experience, strong knowledge of Windows Desktop OS (Windows 11), AD domain administration, and experience with Apple School Manager and JAMF for centralized iPad management, along with excellent German language skills.
