This role is for a quality-conscious Software Tester/QA Engineer to strengthen development teams in Kassel, focusing on quality assurance within agile Scrum environments. The primary responsibilities include planning and executing manual software tests, systematically analyzing defects, and collaborating closely with development, Product Owners, and UX teams. A key part of the job involves building, maintaining, and expanding automated tests, particularly using MS Playwright. Candidates must actively participate in Scrum ceremonies (Dailys, Reviews, Refinements) and drive the continuous improvement of testing processes and quality assurance standards. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Computer Science or a related field, practical experience in both manual and automated QA, and proficiency with test management tools like Aqua. Required Skills

Education

  • Practical experience with Test Management Tools (preferably Aqua)
  • Basic knowledge or practical experience with MS Playwright or comparable test automation frameworks
  • Experience working within agile methodologies (Scrum)
