Job Summary

This role is for a motivated and committed Heat Treatment Engineer to support the production of high-quality heavy plate products at Ilsenburger Grobblech GmbH. The successful candidate will be responsible for production planning, coordinating process flows, and ensuring compliance with deadlines, quality, and performance targets within the heat treatment department, which includes annealing furnaces and water quenching facilities. Key duties involve managing projects for continuous improvement in product quality and manufacturing performance, ensuring the technical availability of production systems, and providing technical guidance to staff. The ideal candidate must hold a technical degree in materials science, process engineering, mechanical engineering, or metallurgy, possess sound technical understanding of production facilities, and bring several years of professional experience from a rolling mill or similar industrial setting. Experience with SAP production modules is a plus.
