Job Summary

This role is for a motivated Heat Treatment Engineer to manage and optimize production processes within the heavy plate rolling mill, specifically focusing on the annealing furnaces and water quenching facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for production planning, coordinating process flows, and ensuring compliance with scheduling, quality, and performance targets. Key responsibilities include managing projects for continuous improvement in product quality and manufacturing performance, ensuring the technical availability of production systems, and providing technical guidance to staff. Candidates should possess a technical degree in materials science, process engineering, mechanical engineering, or metallurgy, coupled with several years of professional experience in a rolling mill or comparable industrial setting. Proficiency in standard MS Office applications and familiarity with SAP production modules are highly desirable for this role based in Ilsenburg, Saxony-Anhalt.
