Job Summary

The Bavarian State Office for Health and Food Safety (LGL) is seeking a Scientific Researcher for the Regional Center of the Bavarian Cancer Registry (KR7) in Regensburg. This vital role involves analyzing specific healthcare questions using cancer registry data, focusing on clinical outcomes, quality assurance, and conducting regional and statewide analyses of cancer data. The researcher will be heavily involved in project lifecycle management, including planning, coordination, grant applications, indicator selection, and developing test systems for data processing and reporting. Key qualifications include a Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, or a related field, strong knowledge of statistical methods, and experience analyzing medical data, ideally in oncology or cancer registration.
