Job Summary

This role involves interdisciplinary research focusing on flame-retardant polymer materials within the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) in Berlin. The successful candidate will be responsible for the conception, planning, execution, and evaluation of experimental series, process optimization, and the presentation and publication of research findings. Key responsibilities also include project management, the acquisition of new topics, and public relations. This position requires a completed doctorate in polymer research, professional experience in pyrolysis and flame protection of polymers, and fluent English skills.
