Job Summary
This role involves leading the technical direction of SAP software development within Stuttgart's municipal government, focusing on ensuring structured, high-quality implementation, and maintaining stable, secure, and high-performing SAP systems for finance, HR, and central business processes. The IT Architect will be responsible for evaluating and establishing agile methodologies and innovative technologies, including analyzing and implementing Artificial Intelligence applications within SAP development. A critical component of the job is managing the strategic migration of custom municipal developments to the new SAP S/4HANA version. Candidates must possess extensive experience in software development, a deep understanding of modern development practices, and the ability to independently plan and lead IT software projects, while ensuring strict compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Required Skills
Education
Master's/Diplom degree in Computer Science, or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable technical field. Alternatively, eligibility for the advanced information technology service (A 12 minimum) with readiness to complete the required ascent course.
Experience
