Job Summary

This critical role involves performing specialized molecular biological procedures within veterinary diagnostics, focusing on livestock such as pigs, ruminants, poultry, rabbits, and fish. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for the entire workflow, including sample preparation, processing, and detailed analysis using advanced techniques like PCR and sequencing, strictly adhering to established standard operating procedures and quality standards. Daily tasks include operating and controlling sophisticated analytical systems, evaluating results, and meticulous documentation. The ideal candidate must possess a completed vocational qualification as a Biology Laboratory Technician or equivalent, coupled with practical experience in PCR methods, sequencing, and lab automation/robotics.
