Job Summary

This role is for a (Junior) Engineer stepping into the Project Manager position, taking overall responsibility for the safety and economic viability (cost, financing, deadlines, quality) of energy infrastructure investment projects across all phases of the HOAI (Fee structure for Architects and Engineers). The successful candidate will orchestrate all project tasks from initial planning through to the handover of completed facilities, acting as the central interface for all stakeholders. Key responsibilities include managing the renewal of railway power lines or switchgear, ensuring compliance with technical standards and regulatory requirements (like the Federal Railway Authority), and procuring planning and execution services. This position is ideal for an Electrical or Industrial Engineer with a focus on Electrical Engineering who thrives in a team environment, possesses strong analytical skills, and is keen to drive innovation in project management within one of Germany's largest engineering firms, DB Energie GmbH.

Required Skills

Education

University degree or University of Applied Sciences degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering (specializing in Electrical Engineering), or a comparable qualification

Experience

  • First practical experience in a comparable area (Plus, not mandatory)
  • Initial knowledge of project management (Ideally)
  • Initial knowledge of electrical railway operations (Plus, not mandatory)
