Job Summary

This role is ideal for a specialist focused on ensuring the flawless operation of electrical systems, specifically automation and drive systems, within the challenging marine environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of these critical systems on ships, ensuring strict compliance with relevant electrical standards and safety regulations (VDE, CE). The Service Engineer will collaborate closely with project managers and technicians, documenting all activities and providing detailed reports on performance and test results. A key component of the role involves developing and conducting training programs for project teams and end-customers on system operation and maintenance. The successful candidate must possess a background in electrical engineering or automation/drive technology, coupled with fluent German and English skills, and a high willingness to travel nationally and internationally, often working in variable and unfavorable weather conditions at sea.
