Job Summary

This senior leadership role involves heading the Chief Information Security Office (CISO) Audit & Control department, ensuring the digital future and security of Germany's armed forces. The Head will be responsible for the disciplinary and technical leadership of managers and experts, managing planning and budget, and acting as the primary escalation point for audit findings and mitigation strategies. Key tasks include designing and prioritizing internal and external audit objects, developing dynamic security processes, and strategically advancing the automation of information security controls, especially in contexts like Cloud environments. The ideal candidate possesses approximately 10 years of relevant professional experience, extensive leadership experience, and deep expertise in automating and conducting information security controls and audits of IT systems and service providers. Fluency in German and good English skills are mandatory for success in this critical role.
