Job Summary

This role is crucial for managing and maintaining the cable routes within Hamburg's major energy distribution network. The Technical Specialist will primarily handle inquiries from planning offices, authorities, and railway operators, assessing the impact of external projects on the network infrastructure. Daily tasks include processing documentation for official planning approval procedures, preparing detailed reports for construction coordination and portfolio management, and providing internal statements for zoning and land-use plans. A significant responsibility involves conducting regular visual inspections of cable systems on bridges, tunnels, and other engineering structures, focusing on structural stability, traffic safety, and long-term durability. The specialist will also assist planners in obtaining necessary water rights and dike rights permits. The ideal candidate possesses a technical education in Electrical Engineering, Metal Construction, or Civil Engineering, coupled with knowledge of power distribution network structures and proficiency in interpreting construction drawings. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring independent work and strong organizational skills.
