Job Summary

This is a critical leadership opportunity to manage the User Help Desk Department within the City Administration's IT Office. The successful candidate will lead a team of nine employees, taking full responsibility for the strategic planning, operational implementation, and technical support necessary to ensure smooth Help Desk operations. Key duties involve the establishment and operation of a centralized User Help Desk for the entire city administration, including integrating VIP and conference room support, along with effective on-site service. You will also manage the departmental budget, handle personnel matters (hiring, development), and oversee the introduction and continuous development of the Help Desk system. This permanent, full-time public sector role requires a Bachelor's degree in IT or Public Administration, significant IT support experience, and proven leadership skills, offering a secure, family-friendly environment to independently shape the future IT landscape of the city.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree (University or FH) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Administrative Informatics, or a comparable qualification; OR Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration with extensive IT practical experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT Support or IT Service Management
  • Minimum 2 years in personnel management/leadership
