Job Summary

This role as an IT Service Technician involves comprehensive on-site and internal support, focusing heavily on the installation, setup, and maintenance of diverse IT infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include building and configuring networks (LAN, WLAN, Routers, Switches), installing server and client hardware, setting up telecommunication systems, and managing cabling (copper, fiber optic). The technician is responsible for fault diagnosis, component replacement, and system integration into existing IT environments, including configuring operating systems and network settings. Furthermore, the role requires proactive involvement in IT security by setting up firewalls, managing access rights, and conducting regular backups and security checks. The ideal candidate must possess a completed vocational qualification, such as an IT Specialist for System Integration or a System Electronics Technician, and be prepared to offer technical consultation and training to end-users, ensuring seamless operation of all IT assets.
