Job Summary

We are seeking an Onsite IT Service Technician to join our client's team in Hameln. This role is highly hands-on, focusing on the complete lifecycle of IT infrastructure, from installation and commissioning to maintenance and repair. Day-to-day tasks involve setting up networks (LAN, WLAN, routers, switches), installing server and client hardware, and managing complex cabling (copper and fiber optic). You will be responsible for fault diagnosis, component replacement, and system integration, ensuring seamless operation of operating systems and network configurations. A critical aspect of the job is providing direct, onsite customer support and ensuring IT security through access rights management, updates, backups, and security checks. The ideal candidate holds a technical qualification in System Integration or System Electronics, possesses detailed knowledge of current Windows operating systems, and has initial experience in network environments, coupled with good proficiency in both German and English.
