Job Summary

This role is for a proactive System Engineer responsible for the operation and continuous development of the company's critical IT infrastructure within one of Northern Germany's largest private food retailers. The core tasks involve designing durable, secure, and resource-efficient server structures, coordinating database and server administration, and translating system requirements into smooth implementations. The ideal candidate possesses extensive hands-on experience with both Windows Server (2008-2019) and Linux/Unix operating systems, coupled with proven expertise in configuring database systems like MySQL/MariaDB and MS SQL, as well as web servers (Apache, IIS).
