Job Summary

This role is for an enthusiastic Fullstack Web Developer to join the in-house IT department of one of Northern Germany's largest private food retailers, based in Kiel. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing modern web applications and innovative app solutions, contributing across both frontend and backend systems, with a strong focus on the JavaScript ecosystem. Day-to-day responsibilities include integrating new applications into the existing IT architecture, conceptualizing and developing modern web applications, and optimizing application performance and UI/UX in collaboration with specialist teams. This position is ideal for someone with a hands-on mentality, a passion for agile development, and a solid foundation in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, offering long-term stability and growth opportunities within a family-oriented, dynamic company.

Required Skills

Education

Degree or vocational training in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics. Motivated career changers with good programming knowledge are also welcome.

Experience

  • Professional experience in practical application of programming knowledge
  • Experience with at least one current JS-Framework (Angular or React) or with Node.js
