Job Summary

This role is crucial for managing the environmental compliance and sustainability reporting within the aerospace sector, specifically supporting Airbus Defence and Space. The specialist will primarily focus on executing and maintaining the substance impact evaluation network across all program lines, ensuring timely decisions regarding centralized R&T projects, replacement planning, and process cancellations related to regulated substances. A significant part of the job involves driving the definition of substance strategy, coordinating a multi-functional team (MFT) addressing compliance, and managing the database of impacted substances and processes. Additionally, the role leads the delivery of Scope 3 User of Sold Products (USP) for non-financial reporting, requiring methodology alignment and external auditor approval. Candidates must possess a degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or Engineering, coupled with at least two years of professional experience in configuration management, design, or manufacturing engineering. Strong analytical, presentation, and negotiation skills are essential, along with fluent English proficiency.
