Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to manage the planning, execution, and operation of data and electrical systems within the university's building, safety, and environmental management department. The successful candidate will independently handle all phases (1-9) of technical system implementation according to HOAI (Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers), focusing on new installations, maintenance, and expansions for both renovation and new construction projects. A key responsibility includes contributing to the introduction and maintenance of the energy management system. Candidates must possess a degree in electrical engineering and either 3 years of relevant professional experience (for EG 13 classification) or be a recent graduate (EG 12). Strong knowledge of contract law, VOB (Construction Contract Procedures), and HOAI is highly desirable, alongside practical experience in network switching and familiarity with CAFM and Building Management Systems.

Completed University Degree (Diplom/FH-Diplom/Bachelor) in Electrical Engineering or comparable field of study

Experience

  • 3 years of professional experience in electrical engineering (required for EG 13 classification)
  • Experience and knowledge with VOB (Construction Contract Procedures) and HOAI (Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers)
  • Experience with planning, execution, and operation of electrical systems (HOAI phases 1-9)
  • Practical experience in network switching or acquiring switching authorization
  • Experience in defect and change order management
  • Experience with planning, execution, and operation of CAFM systems and Building Management Systems (desirable)
  • Experience in energy management (desirable)
