Job Summary

This versatile position as an IT Service Technician, located in Mannheim, offers a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team within an automotive manufacturing company. The role focuses on hands-on client hardware support and repair, specifically handling in-warranty repairs of desktops, notebooks, and tablets. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting up and configuring new hardware, installing and troubleshooting various software and operating systems, and providing in-person support to users at a dedicated Service Point. The ideal candidate possesses a completed IT education or equivalent qualification, detailed knowledge of client hardware, and experience supporting current Windows operating systems and Office products. This is a full-time, permanent contract (initially temporary employment with option for permanent takeover) that requires good German language skills and a Class B driving license, making it suitable for a professional looking for a stable role with development opportunities.
