Job Summary

This role involves serving as a Project Engineer within the Civil Engineering Department of a major German city, focusing on the construction implementation (phases 8 and 9 of HOAI) of structural engineering projects. The successful candidate will oversee and manage new construction measures for bridges, tunnels, retaining walls, noise barriers, and other structures according to DIN 1076. Key responsibilities include acting as the client representative, coordinating construction with third parties, managing external engineering firms, ensuring quality standards, and controlling time and budget adherence. This position also includes a coordination role, providing technical leadership to three team members, offering valuable experience in technical management. Candidates must possess significant professional experience in municipal structural engineering and deep knowledge of VOB and HOAI regulations, contributing actively to the preservation and expansion of the city's vital transportation infrastructure.
