Job Summary

This role involves supporting the City of Dortmund's Civil Engineering Office, specifically within the Traffic Routes department, focusing on promoting local mobility (Nahmobilität), which includes pedestrian and cycling traffic. The successful candidate will independently process and respond to applications from political committees, implement and professionally support political decisions, and develop and evaluate measures aimed at fostering sustainable local mobility. This position requires practical experience in planning and executing road construction projects, ideally with a focus on non-motorized transport, and demands strong communication skills and a structured, independent working style. It is a part-time position (80%) offering a responsible and varied role with significant creative scope, contributing directly to making Dortmund a more livable and sustainable city.

Required Skills

Education

Completed engineering degree (Bachelor, FH Diploma) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Urban Planning, or comparable fields.

Experience
