Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Linux System Engineer specializing in maintaining high-availability, individualized system landscapes, primarily utilizing SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES). Day-to-day responsibilities include automating tasks and processes using Ansible, administering and supporting the infrastructure based on VMware and NetApp, and handling 3rd level support for incidents and changes. The engineer will also be responsible for installing web and application servers in virtualized environments, developing and adapting shell scripts, and aligning customer requirements with the IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate holds a degree or equivalent IT qualification, possesses several years of professional experience with Linux derivatives, and is comfortable with weekend and on-call duty.
