Job Summary

This role as an IT System Technician in Bamberg involves supporting an established company's digital transformation journey. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving software and hardware faults, performing hardware relocations, including assembly and cabling, and ensuring robust on-site support. You will be responsible for repairing desktops, notebooks, and printers under warranty and standard cases, configuring and implementing client systems, and managing service calls within client environments. The ideal candidate possesses a completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or equivalent qualification, coupled with professional experience in Microsoft environments. Deep knowledge of Windows operating systems (7, 8, 10) and familiarity with LAN/WLAN technologies are essential. This position offers a modern work environment, flexible hours, short decision paths, and significant creative freedom, with an initial temporary contract leading to a potential permanent takeover.
