Job Summary

This role is ideal for a flexible expert specializing in the maintenance and support of WLAN networks within large customer environments, focusing on Enterprise, Carrier, and Data Center Network solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading project tasks for Cisco products, such as system installations, configurations, upgrades, and migrations. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and installing routing and switching components from brands like Cisco and Extreme, conducting Wireless LAN Site Surveys, and managing manufacturer cases, including escalation. Key qualifications include a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent training (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration), coupled with profound knowledge in WLAN, TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network services like DHCP and DNS. Practical experience with Cisco products, ideally a CCNA or CCNP Wireless certification, and a willingness to travel regionally and occasionally nationwide for customer assignments are essential. The position offers a permanent contract, flexible working hours, and the option for a company car.
