Job Summary

This role involves working within a critical IT project focused on establishing, technically integrating, and transitioning a central XDR (Extended Detection and Response) security platform into production readiness across multiple universities. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing the XDR architecture, coordinating the rollout of XDR agents onto approximately 200 server systems, and ensuring the quality and tuning of detection rules. Key responsibilities include coordinating with the Managed Security Operations Center (SOC), automating processes, building necessary interfaces, and creating comprehensive technical documentation for handover. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related IT field plus at least three years of relevant professional experience, or a three-year vocational training as an IT Specialist with a minimum of five years of experience. Strong skills in system architecture, networking fundamentals, and an understanding of security concepts (SIEM/XDR) are highly desirable for this impactful, full-time position.
