Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Network System Engineer based in Salzgitter, supporting the critical network environments of renowned German automotive and commercial vehicle manufacturers. Key daily tasks involve active participation in various network projects, operating and maintaining router and switching systems, particularly those from Cisco. You will be responsible for reacting to and resolving fault reports, operating access technology utilizing both copper and fiber optics, and managing, monitoring, documenting, and troubleshooting the network based on a ticketing system. Candidates must possess a completed IT qualification, such as an IT Specialist, professional experience in network environments, and ideally knowledge of TCP/IP. Good English proficiency and a Class B driver's license are required. This position offers an unlimited contract, opportunities for further training, flat hierarchies, and the option for permanent takeover after an initial temporary employment phase.
