Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity for a Junior System Administrator to join and actively support the IT department of an established translation services company in Geisenhausen, Lower Bavaria. The core responsibilities involve monitoring and maintaining both Microsoft and Linux server environments, administering data services, and managing virtualization platforms using VMware and Citrix. Day-to-day tasks include providing crucial 1st and 2nd Level IT support to staff, contributing to IT security initiatives, and participating in the maintenance and expansion of the overall IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a background in IT, strong knowledge of Windows Server 2016 and Windows 10, and familiarity with Office 365, network technologies (LAN, WAN, Firewall), and ideally, Linux.
