Job Summary

This role is for an Onsite IT Service Technician based in Gilching, responsible for providing 2nd Level Support directly at customer locations. Day-to-day tasks involve the installation and configuration of hardware and software, actively analyzing and resolving faults within complex IT environments, and developing solutions collaboratively within a team. A key part of the role is documenting all work steps, managing technical escalations, and providing expert answers to technical inquiries, specifically supporting Windows clients, printers, networking, and telecommunications equipment. The ideal candidate possesses an IT qualification or equivalent, coupled with comprehensive knowledge of current Windows operating systems and fundamental network experience. This is a full-time, permanent position (initially temporary employment with option for permanent takeover) offering 30 days of vacation and flexible working arrangements.
