Job Summary

This role as an Onsite IT Support Specialist in Gernsbach positions you as the crucial technical troubleshooter, ensuring stable IT systems and providing rapid assistance for all end-user challenges. Day-to-day, you will manage support requests within the 1st and 2nd Level Helpdesk, collaborating closely with internal IT teams and external service providers. Key responsibilities include detailed documentation, proactive identification of support process improvements, troubleshooting and restoring software images for Desktops and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and assisting with mobile devices and IT projects. The ideal candidate holds a completed degree in Informatics or training as an IT Specialist (System Integration), coupled with professional experience and excellent knowledge of end-user hardware like laptops and desktops.
