Job Summary
The University Medical Center Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH) is seeking a highly motivated Technical Assistant to join the Institute for Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology, specifically within the Immunopharmacology research group focusing on autoimmunity. This role involves diverse laboratory work, including molecular biology techniques such as PCR, qPCR, cloning, and genotyping. Day-to-day tasks also encompass cell biology, including primary cell isolation, cell culture, and flow cytometry, alongside biochemical methods like Western Blot and protein purification. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as a Technical Assistant (e.g., BTA) or equivalent, possesses extensive methodological skills, and is prepared to quickly adapt to new tasks. This is a highly interdisciplinary position offering exposure to cutting-edge research in a leading academic medical center, requiring very good English language skills and a strong commitment to team-oriented, independent work.
