Job Summary

This role requires a dedicated professional to coordinate and execute all measures necessary to maintain and restore the functionality of data and communication technology (DCI) systems and infrastructure at the Grevenbroich plant. Responsibilities include ensuring the operational readiness of DCI systems, developing and optimizing communication systems (hardware and software), and implementing robust IT security and availability strategies. The planner will be heavily involved in integrating modern telecommunication solutions, such as VoIP, advanced network infrastructure, and SQL databases, and managing internal support systems like fault reporting. A significant component of the job involves taking project responsibility for communication technology aspects in large-scale projects, leading internal initiatives, and creating detailed technical documentation. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Informatics, or Communications Technology (or equivalent technical certification) and ideally bring initial professional experience from an industrial environment, coupled with knowledge of Linux, ANSI C, and SQL databases. This position is suited for a proactive, service-oriented individual motivated by driving challenging, technically innovative projects.
