Job Summary

This critical role serves as the essential link between Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT), focusing on the secure and high-performance integration of hardware and software within the Schwarz Group's industrial and logistics facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining architectural standards and guidelines in the industrial environment, evaluating and integrating new technologies, hardware platforms, and operating systems. Key day-to-day tasks include adapting kernel, driver, and system configurations, alongside implementing crucial security measures such as firmware hardening, patch management, and vulnerability scans for embedded devices. You will provide expert technical consultation to project teams across various locations, aiding in the selection, integration, and security of gateways, sensors, and controllers. This position requires an experienced professional with deep analytical skills, extensive Linux knowledge, and expertise in embedded programming and industrial protocols, capable of managing multiple tasks autonomously.
