Job Summary

This role involves working as a Building Services Technician focusing on Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Sanitary (HKLS) systems in Cologne. The primary responsibilities include analyzing and diagnosing faults in ventilation, refrigeration, and heating systems using both Building Management Systems (BMS) and direct MSR technology. You will independently resolve manageable disruptions and coordinate complex repairs with external service providers. A key part of the job is optimizing existing plant technology, some of which is decades old, and contributing to the development of new, sustainable building technology concepts, including supporting the hydraulic balancing of heating systems to boost energy efficiency. Candidates should have completed vocational training in building services, ideally with a Master Craftsman or Technician qualification in HVAC or plumbing, coupled with strong analytical skills, technical understanding, and experience coordinating technical service providers, preferably using CAFM tools.
