Job Summary

This role involves supporting and maintaining the City of Stuttgart's Human Resources Management systems, primarily focusing on SAP HCM. The specialist acts as the primary contact for end-users, providing expert consultation and handling complex inquiries within a 2nd-Level Support capacity. Day-to-day tasks include independently analyzing errors, finding solutions, and managing system access by implementing and evaluating the authorization concept to ensure secure and traceable system usage. A key responsibility is also the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation, including manuals and system guides. This position is crucial for the continuous improvement of IT services within the HR sector, supporting the city's 'Digital MoveS' digitalization strategy. Candidates should have a background in IT, strong problem-solving skills, and preferably experience with SAP-HCM.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in the IT field OR completed vocational training in the IT field (e.g., IT Specialist)

Experience

  • Minimum three years of relevant professional experience (if IT vocational training is the highest qualification)
  • Professional experience with IT specialist procedures in Human Resources, especially SAP-HCM (advantageous)

Languages

German (Fluent)

Additional

  • Must possess very good German language skills (minimum C1 level) in spoken and written form.
