Job Summary

This leadership role involves heading a team of approximately 10 employees within a major German tax, finance, and business consulting firm, part of the EDEKA Group. The Head of Department will be responsible for team development, contributing to company-wide goal implementation, and providing comprehensive tax and business consulting services to diverse clients. Key day-to-day tasks include preparing commercial and tax annual financial statements, handling tax declarations, conducting strategic tax and business advisory, analyzing short-term income statements, and supporting tax audits. The ideal candidate must possess a completed commercial or tax law education, successful completion of the Tax Advisor examination, and proficiency in DATEV pro and MS Office, coupled with strong client relationship skills and a professional demeanor.
