Job Summary

This leadership role involves heading a team of approximately 10 employees within a major tax, finance, and business consulting firm that is part of the EDEKA Group, operating across 26 locations in Germany. The Head of Department will be crucial in developing and implementing corporate and branch-specific goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing commercial and tax-related annual financial statements and tax returns for various legal entities, providing strategic tax and business consulting, analyzing short-term income statements, and managing tax audits. The ideal candidate must be a certified Tax Consultant (Steuerberater), possess expertise in preparing financial statements and tax returns, and be proficient in DATEV pro and MS Office.
