Job Summary

This role provides a significant opportunity to join Roche Diagnostics GmbH in Penzberg as a Laboratory Technician via a temporary contract, with a clear focus on eventual permanent employment. The core responsibilities center on the hands-on cultivation of cell cultures at lab scale, utilizing equipment such as spinner flasks and shake flasks, and preparing necessary growth media. The technician will coordinate daily laboratory tasks, execute sample withdrawals, perform measurements, and operate automated systems. A critical component of the job is ensuring meticulous adherence to GMP standards through compliant documentation of all manufacturing procedures. Candidates must possess a completed vocational qualification as a Biotechnology or Chemical Laboratory Technician (or equivalent in Food Technology or Pharmacy), coupled with practical experience in cell culture cultivation. Successful applicants must also be prepared for cleanroom work and possess the flexibility to work shifts on weekends and holidays, supported by fluent German language skills.
