Job Summary

This role involves serving as the expert responsible for configuring and managing the Red Hat Satellite Lifecycle Management within the German Pension Insurance's Joint Data Center. Day-to-day tasks include creating specifications and concepts for Red Hat Satellite usage, optimizing existing software, and evaluating alternative products. A key focus is the further development of provisioning technologies, such as network boot, and configuring legacy network infrastructure. The expert will also contribute to future Disaster Recovery strategies and provide training and consultation to potential Red Hat Satellite users. The ideal candidate possesses a relevant IT degree or equivalent professional experience, combined with extensive, relevant experience in Red Hat Satellite, RHEL, Ansible, and VMware products. This is a permanent position in Berlin offering competitive public sector compensation and requiring a structured, independent working style and excellent German language skills.
