Job Summary

This role involves serving as an IT System Administrator with a primary focus on Windows systems for the State Forestry Administration in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and technical administration of Windows server systems across approximately 50 locations and in the state data center, ensuring infrastructure security compliant with BSI standards in collaboration with the Information Security Officer. Day-to-day tasks include managing domains (DNS, DHCP, GPOs), providing Second-Level Support, and actively participating in and leading IT infrastructure projects. Key requirements include a university degree in relevant IT fields or equivalent qualifications (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration with professional experience), profound knowledge of Windows operating systems and Active Directory, and a structured, reliable working style.
