Job Summary
This role as a PLC Programmer involves taking responsibility for the full lifecycle of control software, from planning and programming to optimization and documentation. Day-to-day tasks include creating comprehensive automation concepts, visualizing complex process flows, and expanding existing PLC programs. A key component of the role is conducting national and/or international commissioning of systems. Candidates must possess a completed university degree or advanced technician certification in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Mechatronics, coupled with practical experience in PLC programming, ideally utilizing systems such as TIA Portal, Simatic S7, WinCC, or CoDeSys. Success in this position requires fluency in German (as it is the working language) and intermediate English skills, along with a willingness to travel for business.
