Job Summary

This role is ideal for a Chemical Engineer eager to contribute to global food security within a leading, mid-sized international group specializing in stored product protection. The successful candidate will be based in Laudenbach (Rhein-Neckar region) and focus heavily on regulatory compliance and analytical chemistry. Day-to-day tasks involve coordinating and monitoring studies with external testing laboratories for product registration purposes, drafting and approving study plans, and researching relevant regulatory guidelines. A core responsibility includes evaluating physicochemical data for regulatory dossiers and serving as the interface between R&D and Regulatory Affairs. Key technical work involves method development and validation of Gas Chromatography (GC) systems, specifically a GC with an NPD detector for phosphine measurements, and leading projects utilizing GC technology. Candidates must possess a degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, strong analytical skills (GC, gas analysis), and fluency in both German and English, along with a willingness to travel to testing labs and regulatory authorities.

Experience

  • Professional experience in analytical problem-solving
