Job Summary

This role offers a Chemical Engineer the opportunity to join the Detia Degesch Group, a global leader in stored product protection, based at their headquarters in Laudenbach (Rhine-Neckar Metropolitan Region). The core focus involves supporting global product registration by coordinating and monitoring regulatory studies conducted by external testing laboratories. Day-to-day tasks include drafting, reviewing, and approving study plans, researching regulatory guidelines, and evaluating physicochemical data crucial for compiling regulatory dossiers. The engineer will serve as a key interface between R&D and Regulatory Affairs. A significant technical responsibility is the development and validation of analytical methods, specifically utilizing Gas Chromatography (GC) with an NPD detector for phosphine measurements, and leading related technical projects. Ideal candidates must hold a degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, possess strong analytical skills, and be fluent in both German and English. Experience

  • Professional experience in method development and validation (GC)
  • Desirable: Prior knowledge in plant protection or biocides
