Job Summary

The Energy Data Manager will take on a central role in energy management at the Roche Penzberg site, ensuring that all energy and media data (electricity, heat, cold, water, compressed air) are complete, correct, and usable. This data will serve as the foundation for decisions actively driving the company's sustainability and decarbonization goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include operating and continuously developing the plant-wide energy monitoring system, ensuring compliance in data collection, and generating meaningful analyses, key figures, and energy reports for management, authorities, and certifications (e.g., ISO 50001, EMAS). The role also involves coordinating meter management, supporting internal/external energy audits, and identifying energy efficiency savings potentials. This position operates at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and industry, contributing significantly to the energy and environmental strategy of one of Europe's largest biotech sites. Candidates should possess a relevant degree in engineering or a comparable technical background, ideally with professional experience in energy data analysis or technical facility management, coupled with strong analytical and communication skills.
