This role as an Advisor for Nature Conservation, based in Dresden, involves providing expert supervision for key protected area administrations in Saxony, including the National Park Region Saxon Switzerland and the Upper Lusatian Heath and Pond Landscape Biosphere Reserve. Daily tasks include supporting the implementation of legal amendments for protection regulations, managing matters related to UNESCO World Heritage and IUCN evaluations, and preparing crucial official documents such as press responses, parliamentary inquiries, and decision templates for cabinet-level management. The position requires a scientific university degree (Master or Diploma) in a relevant field like biology, forestry, or nature conservation, coupled with professional experience in conservation and strong knowledge of national and European environmental and administrative law.
