This role involves acting as a key member of the Customer Applications team, focusing on advancing chromatography solutions, particularly Affinity / Protein A chromatography. The specialist will leverage expertise in downstream technologies to collaborate with commercial partners, driving the adoption and sales of innovative technologies within a designated region. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing sales initiatives, partnering with Process Development Scientists to ensure seamless customer experiences during product trials, and identifying strategic market growth opportunities based on customer needs and market dynamics. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Life Sciences or a related field, possesses over five years of relevant technical experience in the life sciences industry, and is well-versed in downstream processing and chromatography, including biological production like monoclonal antibodies. Strong project management skills and fluency in both German and English are essential for engaging with customers and shaping product strategies.

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (Master's or PHD preferred)

Experience

  • Over 5 years of relevant technical experience in the life sciences industry, from prospecting to closure
