Job Summary

This role is for a Senior IT Support Specialist to join one of Germany's leading Engineering and IT service providers, focusing on maintaining and optimizing critical customer IT infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities involve handling customer inquiries via phone and a ticketing system, providing comprehensive support for various IT technologies including Servers, Clients, Storage, Networking, and Firewalls. Key technical tasks include administering and monitoring Windows Clients, Windows Server, and Linux systems, as well as troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Candidates must possess a completed IT education or equivalent qualification, coupled with at least three years of dedicated support experience, particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem and preferably including Linux systems and MS Office 365.
