Job Summary

This role involves supporting the Authorized Body Bavaria, the competence center for the Digital Radio Network of Authorities and Organizations with Security Tasks (BOS) in Bavaria. The successful candidate, who can be a Junior or Senior IT Engineer or Specialist, will be involved in critical infrastructure management, ensuring optimal and rapid communication for approximately 500,000 emergency responders (Fire, Rescue, Police, etc.). Key responsibilities span various technical areas, including network infrastructure measures (Funkmessung), 1st and 2nd level user support (Leitstelle), end-device management (Nutzermanagement), IT system administration, and network planning for the IP-based access network (Zugangsnetz). The position requires a background in IT or engineering, proficiency in German, and a willingness to handle complex technical and organizational matters, sometimes involving work outside regular hours and travel.
